Astros manager A.J. Hinch said more roster moves may be on the way as the Astros wrap up this home stand against Kansas City beginning Monday, with a day off Thursday before a 10-game stretch beginning Friday with no days off before the All-Star break.
Hinch said his decision could depend on Collin McHugh’s performance Sunday against the Yankees.
“He went 114 (pitches) his last outing,” Hinch said. “If we feel he needs an extra day, we will need a starter on Friday in Boston. If we want to bring him back on regular rest on Friday, we’ll likely need a starter on Saturday in Boston.
