The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to send pitcher Francisco Liriano to the Houston Astros, according to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi.
#BlueJays and #Astros deal for Francisco Liriano is pending a physical. Sounds like an outfielder in coming back in return

At this point, it is still unclear who the player is Toronto is getting in return.
Liriano has spent his career as a starting pitcher, but Houston intends to use him as a reliever out of the bullpen. His dominance against lefties is what really intrigued Houston, as they only have a .615 OPS against him this season.
Liriano is 6-5 with a 5.88 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 18 starts to so far this season.
