Numerous signs can point to an easy victory for the University of Hawai’i basketball team on Tuesday, but the Warriors are aware that nothing comes easy.
The Warriors say they are preparing to be tested when they host NCAA Division II Hawai’i-Hilo on Tuesday night at the Stan Sheriff Center. Hawai’i is 5-1, with all five wins in the Sheriff Center; UH-Hilo is 0-5, including four losses to NCAA-II competition.
“They’re quick, they kind of play like they don’t have anything to lose, so they play hard,” junior forward Mike Thomas said. “They play to the best of their abilities all the time.
