The first public look at the 2022-23 University of Hawai’i basketball team is set for this Thursday.
The Rainbow Warriors will host NCAA Division II Hawai’i-Hilo in an exhibition game at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. It is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m., and will be broadcast live on ESPN Honolulu radio/online streaming. There will not be any live television coverage.
The final result and statistics will not count for either team, but it will still be an important gauge to see how prepared the Warriors are after five weeks of official practices.
Hawai’i returns 10 players from last season’s squad that finished 17-11 overall and third in the Big West Conference.
