The University of Hawai’i basketball team’s hot start is gaining a little bit of national recognition – and not just on the mid-major level.
The Warriors are listed in the “Others receiving votes” for both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll. They received four points in the AP Top 25 (consists of 65 media voters from across the nation), and one point in the USA Today Poll (consists of 32 NCAA Division I head coaches).
The last time a Hawai’i team received votes in both national polls was very early during the 2005-06 season, which was sparked by an upset of then-No.
