Colby Rogers hit a contested 3-pointer with 24 seconds remaining to lead Cal Poly to a 79-75 overtime victory over the University of Hawai’i in a Big West Conference basketball game on Saturday at the Mott Athletic Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
The game featured furious rallies from each team in regulation – Cal Poly came back from 14 down, then Hawai’i came back from a 15-point deficit.
The Rainbow Warriors dropped to 14-8 and remained in second place in the Big West at 5-3. Conference leader UC Irvine also lost on Saturday to drop to 7-2.
