Warriors beat Cal Poly on road to move into first place tie

Stefan Jankovic had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead the University of Hawai’i basketball team to a 75-60 road victory over Cal Poly on Saturday at the Mott Athletics Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Roderick Bobbitt added 15 points and six assists, and Aaron Valdes had 12 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots as the Warriors tied a school record with its fourth consecutive conference road victory.

The Warriors improved to 18-3 overall and moved into a tie for first place in the Big West Conference at 7-1. UC Irvine, which did not play on Saturday, is also 7-1.
