On the last day of the official signing period for basketball recruits, the University of Hawai’i secured two National Letters of Intent.
Jessiya Villa, a senior at Kahuku High School and the 2017 Hawai’i Player of the Year, signed to play with the Warriors, although he will first serve a two-year mission for his church.
Jaaron Stallworth, a freshman at Yuba College (Calif.), also signed with the Warriors and will have three seasons of eligibility.
