Electricians Hawaii continued its undefeated run through the Hawai’i College Basketball Summer League with an 89-84 victory over Chosen Few in the semifinals of the playoffs on Thursday night at Manoa Valley District Park Gym.
Wealth Strategy Partners defeated National Fire Protection Co., 98-81, in the other semifinal.
Electricians Hawaii (11-0) will face Wealth Strategy (6-6) for the Summer League championship on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Maryknoll School’s Clarence T.C. Ching Gymnasium.
Former UH-Hilo player Aukai Wong scored 30 points to lead Electricians Hawaii in the semifinal victory. Oscar Pedroso (Chaminade) added 17 points for Electricians Hawaii, which is playing without top player Derrick Low, who is preparing for his upcoming professional season in Europe.
