Another slow start for the University of Hawai’i basketball team proved costly in a 75-62 loss to Princeton on the second night of the FS1 Pearl Harbor Invitational on Wednesday at Bloch Arena, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
Continuing a recent – and disturbing – trend, the Warriors fell behind early. This time, they never recovered as Princeton controlled the game from start to finish.
Hawai’i dropped to 4-5, including 0-2 in the Pearl Harbor tournament. It is the first time since the 2014-15 season that the Warriors lost back-to-back games. Princeton improved to 3-4, including 1-1 in the tournament.
