Along with 2018, the non-conference portion of the 2018-19 season for the University of Hawai’i basketball team is now over.
The Rainbow Warriors went 9-5 against non-conference opponents, and the Big West Conference regular season is up next. Hawai’i will open Big West action with a home game against Cal State Fullerton on January 9.
Since joining the Big West in the 2012-13 season, the Warriors have now posted a winning non-conference record in six of seven seasons. Here are the previous six seasons:
2017-18: 9-4 non-conference start; 8-8 Big West; 17-13 final record
2016-17: 6-7 non-conference start; 8-8 Big West; 14-16 final record
2015-16: 11-2 non-conference start; 13-3 Big West; 28-6 final record
2014-15: 12-4 non-conference start; 8-8 Big West; 22-13 final record
2013-14: 11-3 non-coference start; 9-7 Big West; 20-11 final record
2012-13: 6-5 non-conference start; 10-8 Big West; 17-15 final record
