It’s official, the University of Hawai’i basketball team has signed three new players for the 2020-21 season. Manel Ayol, Biwali Bayles and JoVon McClanahan signed National Letters of Intent this week to join the Rainbow Warriors.
Ayol is a 6-foot-7 forward who was a junior college standout at Western Wyoming College. He is from Australia, and will have two seasons of eligibility.
Hawai’i head coach Eran Ganot said of Ayol: “Manel enjoyed phenomenal success during his two years at Western Wyoming. He has a combination of size, skill and athleticism that will provide a jolt for our program.
