There are 10 newcomers on the Hawai’i basketball team, but not all of them are new to NCAA Division I basketball.
Larry Lewis Jr., a 6-foot-2 junior combo guard, is one of the newcomers who is bringing a bit of experience with him to the Warriors. He attended Texas-San Antonio, a NCAA D-I program, for two years – redshirting the 2013-14 season, then averaging 4.5 points per game as a part-time starter as a freshman in the 2014-15 season.
He played his sophomore season at Odessa Community College in Texas last season, averaging 11.
