LSU falls to 9-6 on the season while Hawaii moves to 7-4
Zack Hess had another successful outing recording nine strikeouts in 7.0 innings. He allowed three runs on five hits, three of which were solo homers. Hess surrendered the loss and moves to 2-2 on the season. Nick Bush pitched for an inning and struck out one before being replaced by Matthew Beck who gave up one hit in 0.1 innings of work. Taylor Peterson surrendered back-to-back singles, allowing a run to come home, charged to Beck. Taylor Petersen and Devin Fontenot finished up the ninth inning without allowing any more runs.
