Hawai’i pulls away from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 75-47

The University of Hawai’i got back to its winning ways at home with a 75-47 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Stefan Jankovic had a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Warriors, who improved to 5-1 and bounced back after a road loss at Texas Tech last weekend. Arkansas-Pine Bluff dropped to 2-6, and it was the team’s second straight year with a loss at Hawai’i.

Isaac Fleming added 13 points — including 8 for 8 free-throw shooting — and Sai Tummala contributed 12 points.

The Warriors shot 50 percent from the field overall, despite going just 1 for 11 from 3-point range.
