The University of Hawai’i basketball program’s all-time leader in assists will be playing his final season at Missouri.
Drew Buggs, a three-year starter for the Rainbow Warriors, announced his decision to transfer to Missouri via social media on Sunday.
Buggs, a 6-foot-3 point guard, entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal on March 25, but said at the time that returning to Hawai’i for his senior season was still an option. He is on track to graduate from UH next month, and will be eligible to play for Missouri during the 2020-21 season as a graduate transfer.
