The Big West Conference Basketball Championships will be relocating in 2022.
The yet-to-be completed Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada, will be the host site for the conference tournament in March 2022. The 6,000-seat arena is scheduled to be completed in February 2022, and the Big West basketball tournament will be the first publicly ticketed event there.
The University of Hawai’i men’s and women’s basketball teams are expected to participate in the tournament. The top 10 men’s and women’s teams in the final standings will participate in the tournament. There are 11 teams in the Big West, meaning only the last place team will not qualify.
