The 2019-20 season will be the 100th season of competition for the University of Hawai’i basketball program. As part of the season-long celebration, three games on the 2019-20 schedule will feature special recognitions.
• November 29 vs. San Francisco will be “Fabulous Five” Night. The team that put UH basketball on the national map will be honored, and an autograph session will follow the game. During the 1970-71 and 1971-72 seasons, the Rainbow Warriors went 47-8 and became the first UH teams to play in the NIT (1971) and NCAA (1972) tournaments. The starting five of Al Davis, Jerome Freeman, Dwight Holiday, Bob Nash and John Penebacker have remained legendary figures in UH basketball lore.
