5 reasons why the Packers will beat the Broncos (and one reason they won't)
Key To The Game:
If any quarterback in the league can neutralize the Denver Broncos' vaunted pass rush, it's Aaron Rodgers. No QB in the league makes better decision quicker than Rodgers, killing teams on three-step and five-step drops that look mechanical in nature. The only way to stop the Broncos front seven from imposing their will is to a) run the ball effectively and b) throw faster than they can get to you. For the Packers, it's the reverse order. Quick vertical hits by Rodgers will open the running game and force Denver's front seven to be less aggressive. If he does that, this Broncos team is beatable.
Prediction: Packers win 30-20
The Denver Broncos have pulled more escape jobs than any 6-0 team we can remember. The magic tricks stop on Sunday against Aaron Rodgers. Expect the Packers to stretch the field early and often, opening up a shootout in which Peyton Manning and the currently-struggling Broncos offense won't be able to keep up.
