The Green Bay Packers stunned the NFL when they traded up in the 2020 Draft to select fellow quarterback Jordan love with the 26th overall pick. This was despite Rodgers having three years left to run on his $134 million (US) contract extension.
What made the decision even harder for Rodgers to stomach was that the Packers ignored his pleas for the Packers provide him with some new weapons in what was a wide-receiver heavy draft.
Now Mike Freeman, writing for Bleacher Report, said it would only take one thing for the simmering tension at Green Bay to explode.
