There’s still time to fix things.
That’s the good news for the Green Bay Packers, who got worse as a football team over the past two days.
The bad news is that when free agency officially begins Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, the Packers appear even further behind San Francisco — which routed Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game two months ago — than they did at the start of the week.
During the NFL’s legal tampering period that ran on Monday and Tuesday, the Packers lost right tackle Bryan Bulaga and middle linebacker Blake Martinez.
