It’s been just over six months since an investigative documentary was released claiming that several NFL players, including as many as 25 members of the Green Bay Packers, were taking or were involved with performance enhancing drugs.

The program from Al Jazeera, ‘The Dark Side: The Secret World of Sports Doping,’ alleged that several high-profile sports figures including Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning and Packers’ Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers, and Mike Neal, received PEDs and various other drugs from a man named Charlie Sly.

Sly, who was identified as the “doctor of pharmacy” in the undercover investigation, unknowingly shared the explicit details of drugs he had pushed Neal who then, he claimed, introduced him to Matthews and Peppers.
