What Packers Coach Said About Brutal Jordan Love Injury

The Green Bay Packers will leave Brazil with more than just a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Packers also might be without star quarterback Jordan Love for some time, too.

Love suffered an apparent lower leg injury on the second-to-last play of Green Bay's 34-29 loss to the Eagles. Love got his foot caught under 6-foot-3, 314-pound defensive tackle Jalen Carter while Carter and Josh Sweat tackled Love, who tried to lateral the ball pack to Josh Jacobs.

Love walked off the field with some assistance from the Packers medical staff, but that didn't generate much optimism that the 25-year-old, who signed a four-year, $220 million deal this offseason, avoided a serious injury.
