The Green Bay Packers are bringing back linebacker Isaiah McDuffie on a two-year deal worth up to $9.5 million, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. The deal has a base value of $8 million.
McDuffie, 25, was a sixth-round pick of the Packers in 2021. A 25-game starter over the last two seasons, McDuffie is now signed with the Packers through the 2026 season.
Here's what re-signing McDuffie means for the Packers moving forward:
-- The Packers established some much-needed depth at linebacker entering 2025. With McDuffie re-signed, the Packers have Quay Walker, Edgerrin Cooper, Ty'Ron Hopper and McDuffie all under contract for next season, and Cooper, Hopper and McDuffie are all signed through 2026.
