In fact, I don’t think anyone really does, even those inside 1265 Lombardi Avenue. And that’s what makes Funchess such an intriguing player to watch this summer as training camp unfolds.
Funchess is a former second-round pick out of Michigan in 2015 by the Carolina Panthers. Over his first two seasons, he appeared in 31 out of 32 games with 12 starts and caught 45 percent of his 121 targets at 13.
