Tyler Davis tore his ACL and is out for the season. The unfortunate injury opens a hole at tight end depth for the Green Bay Packers, even though they used two top 100 draft picks to fill the position, getting Luke Musgrave in the second round and Tucker Kraft in the third. Both young players will be extremely important for the Packers plans — especially Musgrave, who was on the field for the 12 snaps Jordan Love played against the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday.
But, beyond them, the team only has Austin Allen as a true tight end — Josiah Deguara and Henry Pearson are TE/FB hybrid types.
