What are the Packers digging up in the Lambeau lot along South Oneida Street? We have the answer

GREEN BAY - Even in the midst of COVID-19, the offseason means construction season at Lambeau Field.

The Green Bay Packers are relocating a 400,000-gallon wastewater surge tank at Lambeau Field to allow for expansion. The team did not announce specific expansion plans but said this was a good time to complete the project.

"The current one is under the players' parking lot. If we wanted to add to the stadium, we would not be able to," said Aaron Popkey, Packers director of public affairs.

The new site is along South Oneida Street, on the south side of the Johnsonville Tailgate Village building.
