Aaron Rodgers, the four-time MVP, announced on the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday that he intends to play for the New York Jets next season. It is déjà vu all over again for the Packers as the last disgruntled Green Bay quarterback, Brett Favre, played for the Jets immediately after the Packers. The Favre trade set the stage for Rodgers to take the reins as QB1 back in 2008. Now, the yet-to-be-finalized Rodgers trade sets the stage for Jordan Love, the team’s 2020 first-round selection, to take the reins as QB1 15 years later.
