Welcome to the club (again): Packers tight end Mitchell Henry's bad luck returns

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Poor Mitchell Henry. Two preseasons, two broken fingers, two chances at the Green Bay Packers' 53-man roster damaged.

Last summer, the Packers then-undrafted rookie free-agent tight end from Western Kentucky was turning heads in training camp -- both on special teams and as a run blocker on offense -- when he broke the middle finger on his left hand.

The injury forced him to wear a bulky club cast on his hand the rest of the preseason -- an encumbrance that made catching passes an adventure -- but he still played well enough that the Denver Broncos claimed him on waivers when the Packers cut him at the end of camp.
