As he so often does, QB Aaron Rodgers took advantage of a free play when he got the Chiefs to jump offside. He fired a 26-yard TD pass to WR James Jones with 56 seconds left in the first half to give the Packers a 24-7 lead at intermission. It was Jones’ fourth TD reception in three games this season.

With Chiefs QB Alex Smith scrambling around in his own end zone, Packers CB Sam Shields stuck with his man and picked off Smith’s floating pass at the Kansas City 19-yard line.
