The Packers’ youth movement has been pretty successful so far in the 2023 season.
Sure there have been growing pains — Jordan Love’s one-man quarterback sneak, for instance — but that’s to be expected. Generally speaking, the Packers’ young players have lived up to their billing. And that’s good, because the veterans who should have been stepping up to augment the youngsters were either unavailable or ineffective in Week 2.
It’s still early, so there’s plenty of time for youth and experience to come together for mutual aid, but it’s encouraging that the youth portion of that equation is holding up its end of the bargain.
