A famous Packers quarterback once said that this game is about people. If the Packers are going to make the playoffs — or at least show improvement on defense over the final three games of the season — that idea will probably prove true.
They’ve already decided that one person isn’t going anywhere. Matt LaFleur stopped far short of full-throated support for Joe Barry in his press conference on Monday, but he did make it clear that the embattled defensive coordinator is here to stay. That means if the Packers are going to take steps forward on that side of the ball, it’s going to have to come from the people actually on the field.
