If what I wrote yesterday is true and the Packers have room for growth on defense, this might be the sort of weekend that shows that growth.
The Eagles and Colts were similar and relatively unconventional opponents. Both featured beefy offensive lines paving the way for a run-heavy attack built, in part, around mobile quarterbacks. The Tennessee Titans, meanwhile, are a much more conventional opponent featuring a much more conventional quarterback — a quarterback who’s much more prone to taking sacks and turning the ball over.
If the Packers are going to showcase their full defensive potential, it’s likely to be in a game like this.
