One of the best parts of training camp is the emergence of players you might not have thought would be big contributors.
That’s certainly the case with Eric Stokes. Two years ago, he was coming off a very promising rookie season, but we all know how 2022 went for him. Then last year, the redemption storyline was in full swing, only to fizzle as injuries once again mounted. Now Stokes is off to a promising — and somewhat unexpected — start, holding down the Packers’ second corner job opposite Jaire Alexander.
It might be a little strange to call it entirely unexpected.
