When your team is largely filled with youth and inexperience, the odds are stacked against you to win football games consistently. After all, the National Football League is a grown man’s league and, generally speaking, rewards teams that are veteran-laden, with talented, young players sprinkled in. So the challenge for young teams, like the Green Bay Packers, is learning how to win football games, particularly close ones. Entering Sunday, five of the Packers’ nine games were one-score affairs; the team was 1-4 in those five contests.
