Vince Lombardi-era players dominate best draft picks for Packers

The Green Bay Packers have been drafting players since 1936. Here’s a look at the best draft picks by position for the Packers:

OFFENSE

Quarterback: Bart Starr, 17th round, 1956; Aaron Rodgers, first round, 2005. How can anyone pick between the two? Starr was the 200th player selected, while Rodgers was the 25th. But both made monumental impacts on the franchise. Starr was the face of the Vince Lombardi-era championships, while Rodgers did the near-impossible by following in Brett Favre’s shoes.

Running back: Tony Canadeo, ninth round, 1941.
