Linebacker Vince Biegel didn’t make much of an impression during his brief tenure with the Green Bay Packers.
The former Wisconsin Badger played in just nine games in 2017, his rookie season. He missed all of training camp that year because of foot surgery, which hindered his development. This year, Biegel was largely a non-factor during camp and the Packers cut him after just one season.
The move was surprising and it wasn’t. Surprising that the Packers would give up on a fourth-round draft pick after just one season. Surprising considering their lack of quality edge rushers.
