Coming off of a two-game losing skid, the Minnesota Vikings made a move on Tuesday — the week before the NFL’s trade deadline — to lock in a starting left tackle for the remainder of their 2024 season. With Christian Darrisaw, the team’s preferred starting left tackle, now out for the year with a knee injury, the Vikings made the proactive move of trading for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Cam Robinson, who was previously Jacksonville’s starting left tackle.
Robinson didn’t suit up against the Green Bay Packers last week, maybe because the Jaguars knew a trade was on the horizon, as Jacksonville transitioned to former second-round pick Walker Little at the left tackle spot.
