Vikings' Adam Thielen makes statement with big gain on fake punt

Green Bay — After all those years that Minnesota looked to former Green Bay players to help them try to beat the Packers, from Darren Sharper to Ryan Longwell to Brett Favre and others, the Vikings finally won a monumental game with the help of one of their very own.

Hailing from Detroit Lakes High School in Minnesota, and Minnesota State University, undrafted free agent Adam Thielen stole the show early Sunday night in Lambeau Field.

After an opening drive that looked headed for nowhere, Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer sent out his punt unit. Which included Thielen lined up just in front of the punter.
