The ’ offense is in the midst of an identity crisis.
For more than a decade, that identity could really be summed up by two words: “Aaron” and “Rodgers.” Whatever version of Rodgers they had as he first matured into an elite QB and then aged, the offense hinged on his abilities.
Now, they’re not quite there yet. Jordan Love doesn’t look like he can carry the offense, AJ Dillon has gotten the chance but has come up short, and Aaron Jones hasn’t really been healthy enough to give it a shot. All that leads to significant questions about both who the Packers are and what they’re trying to be.
