Tuesday Cheese Curds: Packers draft class sets up interesting position battles

The picks are in, now the work begins.

The Packers added eight rookies with differing degrees of promise and potential over the weekend, and it’s time for their battles for playing time and depth chart positioning to begin. Who will emerge victorious? Well, as always, that depends.

For starters, it obviously depends on the individual potential of the rookie in question. For instance, it will be a lot easier for Matthew Golden, a polished receiver who might have been the best prospect at his position in the entire class, to earn playing time than it will be for Savion Williams, a project player if there ever was one.
