Most of the burden for the Packers’ growth over the past couple of seasons has fallen on the shoulders of their youngest players. Just by nature of their roster construction, the Packers have needed their newest arrivals to make the bigger difference, whether that’s a fair or even realistic thing to hope for.
But even if that’s true, to get to the next level the Packers need their veterans to play up to their potential — and their contracts.
None of this is likely news to Jaire Alexander, who probably knows better than anyone that his 2023 season wasn’t good enough.
