Position battles have been relatively few and far between in training camp this year, and the most intriguing one, such as it is, seems to have just wrapped up.
Jordan Morgan, the Packers’ 2024 first round pick, looks like he’s secured the Packers starting right guard job — depending how much stock you put in the Packers’ unofficial depth chart, that is.
Depth chart or not, Morgan seems to have been trending that way for a while, fending off former third-round pick Sean Rhyan. It’s probably not the ideal outcome for the Packers; presumably you’d want to get your first-round tackle to play, you know, tackle.
