It sure looks like Jaire Alexander’s time in Green Bay is over.
No general manager is going to just come right out and say that they’re fed up with a guy or that they’re going to cut him if they can’t find a team willing to trade a bag of footballs for him, but the traditionally understated Brian Gutekunst might as well have said so when he addressed the media at the podium this week.
Saying “we’ll see” and publicly admitting the team has been frustrated with Alexander is basically the Gutekunst equivalent of jumping up and down and screaming.
