His big day was overshadowed by the breaking of the Aaron Rodgers story, but that doesn’t mean Eric Stokes isn’t fired up to be part of the Green Bay Packers.
With minicamp now behind him, Stokes made a strong first impression on his teammates and coaches. His speed and athleticism were on full display and a likely-pick six on a pass intended for Marquez Valdes-Scantling during practice made his teammates erupt into cheers.
Stil, Stokes is a rookie and with that comes multiple transitions to the NFL game the least of which is speed. Adapting to the quickness of professional players can lead to some doubt between the ears of even the top overall pick.
