Thursday Cheese Curds: Bashaud Breeland could be a steal for the Packers

It was a move not many were sure would happen just a year ago, but Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst pulled it off and gave his secondary some much needed relief.

Green Bay on Tuesday signed free agent cornerback Bashaud Breeland to replace Davon House who is now on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Breeland was one of the top cornerbacks on the free agent market just a few months ago, but had his contract offer from the Carolina Panthers rescinded after he suffered a cut on his foot in the Dominican Republic that ended up being infected.
