When Jamaal Williams left in free agency, fans felt a mix of sadness in losing Williams as well as excitement in seeing what AJ Dillon could do.
Dillon and his infamous quads are now second on the running back depth chart behind Aaron Jones and the duo will form a potentially even more lethal combination that Jones and Williams did the past two seasons.
Dillon’s potential was on full display against the Tennessee Titans last December as he ran for 124 yards in a cold, snowy blowout victory. We can’t say for certain that was the game that made the Packers decide they could live without Williams but it at least made them think about it/
Dillon’s presence will give head coach Matt LaFleur the option to move Jones around even more than he has in the past.
