Throw them open: Aaron Rodgers might need to force-feed Packers WRs

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- If Aaron Rodgers’ receivers can’t get open, the Green Bay Packers quarterback might have to start throwing them open.

That’s what playcaller Tom Clements seemed to suggest Monday, when most of the focus around Lambeau Field centered on how the Packers can repair their sputtering offense that managed just 140 total yards in Sunday’s 29-10 loss at the Denver Broncos -- and how they can do it before this Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Rodgers threw for only 77 yards against the Broncos, his fewest in a game he started and did not leave because of injury.
