Injuries are part of football. Every year, key players are out of the lineup as a result of injuries. The maxim for the Green Bay Packers and every NFL team is “next man up.” That doesn’t always work out, but there are times when a backup steps in and takes advantage of an opportunity granted to them because of an injury.
