The Green Bay Packers are expected to ink a new extension with quarterback Jordan Love soon, one that a former NFL agent believes will start with a minimum asking price of $48.5 million per year. Just before the draft, ESPN’s Adam Schefter stated that the Lions and quarterback Jared Goff’s camp weren’t close to striking a deal on a long-term extension. Three weeks later, Detroit gave Goff a four-year contract worth $212 million ($53 million per year) that includes $170 million in guarantees.
